The location was magnificent - so close to the town centre and the Elan Valley. The reception was great with decent staff.

The full Welsh breakfast was more than adequate with the best eggs ever and both cereal, for example. The staff were more than adequate and competent, tried to make the stay a fairly nice experience. It offered us good location not far from the lake, park which kids also loved and all the attractions of the area.

Perfect for solo travelers seeking comfort
The staff treated me like family, even serving me a delicious homemade curry late at night, despite the kitchen being closed. The breakfast was great too, with fresh coffee and toast that hit the spot. I left feeling ready to take on the day.
It wasn't cheap, but still worth every penny.

Lovely spot in Rhayader!
We had a family room that was spacious and comfy. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was really nice, lots to choose from. We didn't try lunch or dinner, but the bar looked inviting. Only thing was the WiFi could be a bit slow during peak times, but overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Really good Stay with Fantastic Dining Experience!
The staff's warm welcome. Dinner was a highlight, with my steak cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Don't miss the breakfast. Just ensure you arrive early! Free parking is a bit tricky with larger vehicles, so plan accordingly.

Great place for cyclists
We stayed for a night and the staff was super cute. The room was clean and comfy, perfect after a long day of cycling. Dinner was surprisingly good-had the chicken pie and it was delish! Only downside was the bathroom shower was noisy, but that didn't ruin the stay. Good experience!

The cooked breakfast delivered some satisfaction. Tea-making facilities in the room offered a nice touch, giving a little comfort in a compact space.
The dining options were limited, particularly on Monday, when the restaurant was closed and no bar snacks were available. My room had a noticeable squeak with every move, which didn't help with getting a restful night. The bathroom lacked certain practical elements, like a shelf for toiletries, and the cramped en-suite felt a bit too cozy for comfort.

The stay was enjoyable, especially after a long day exploring the scenic Elan Valley. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed, and the evening meal exceeded expectations with its hearty pub grub. Although the room was clean and well-presented, the beds could use better mattresses for added comfort. the atmosphere and local charm made it a memorable experience.

Compact room furnished efficiently for solo travelers. The bar atmosphere buzzed with lively energy.
Lane to the parking lot needs some serious pothole attention, can be jarring. Room size might feel cramped if you're used to more space, and bed dimensions felt a touch on the small side-didn't quite accommodate my height, leaving my feet dangling. Breakfast wraps up a bit early for a Sunday, and if busy, parking could require a bit of a walk.
